I have had some bad experiences and get nervous when I hire contractors for my home. However, working with Doug is what every experience should be like. He is very knowledgeable and up-to-date, replacing my electrical panel and fixing some circuits that had problems. He came promptly, gave an fair estimate, went the extra mile when there was an unexpected complication, and completed the work in a quick, clean, and professional manner. I will definitely be turning to him for my future electrical needs.
We had Doug install 10 recessed lights and a new dining room fixture in our first floor. He did a great job, and was very conscientious about his work. He was on time for the job and made sure to communicate with us about materials and costs. We have recommended Doug since and will use him again.
Augustin electric was great – we got fan boxes installed in all the bedrooms, pot lights added and replaced, and a new outlet added in our garage. Doug was very knowledgeable and professional when he helped us finish our basement. He worked well with our GC, and though he was willing to talk us through several electrical and lighting options, he never cut any corners.
We had Doug install 13 recessed lights and 15 receptacles in our roughly 600 sq. ft. remodeled basement, install an outdoor spot light, and replace a light at the top of our stairs. He did a nice job, was competent, and conscientious about his work. He was considerate and followed up after to make sure we were satisfied. He even recommended materials we should use to make sure we had the best result. We would use Doug and Augustin Electric in the future.
Mr. Augustin displayed a level of focus and professionalism throughout the project that is not frequently seen. His work was done methodically and carefully across about 2 weeks during which he came and went responsibly and with my full trust, as I was working outside the home the entire time. (He even walked my dog when he tired of its constant demands for attention, poor man.) HIRE HIM!
We have used Augustin Electric for multiple projects. I have no hesitation recommending him. The projects came in on budget and were done in a timely fashion. The outdoor patio lights make such a difference and have made our steps so much safer. He has installed lighting fixtures and updated our recessed lighting to LED.
